The Art of Yum
I had the amazing opportunity to photography the food from The Lift Restaurant in Jackson, Wyoming! Can I just say photography is great, but photographing food is the best. The Lift has such good food, and that made my job as a photographer even easier. Here are some tips I learned from photographing food.
- Capture it while it’s fresh. Food looks best right when it’s done cooking! The longer you wait the less appetizing the photo looks
- Light is everything! The way you light a shot is so important! It can show the details, and create a mood for the dish.
- Try all angles. Changing your perspective makes the food look different, and can bring out subtle details of a dish making it very desirable.
